    New passenger terminal opened at Punta Cana International Airport

    With the opening of this terminal, Punta Cana International Airport now offers the most comprehensive airport infrastructure in the Caribbean.                     

    The new facilities have capacity for 3,000 passengers an hour and span an area of 33,000 square meters, split into two levels and a mezzanine floor.  The departure lounge will have 50 check-in desks, 7 bridges, and 9 departure gates. It also has a food court, VIP lounge, duty free stores, a champagne bar, a children's area, and a smoking area.
