Located in the mountains of Anamuya, this tour offers the chance to interact with and observe monkeys in a natural environment, with spectacular views of the countryside.

This excursion suitable for all ages visits 5 hectares of a beautiful area that the monkeys have made their home.  The population of this species is currently 15 squirrel monkeys, and several of the females are gestating, so the number is expected to increase shortly. 

The tour begins in the beautiful botanical garden, where you will learn all about the island’s native plants and flowers.  The following 45 minutes are spent on a guided tour that will allow you to interact in close proximity with the squirrel monkeys.  These lovely and intelligent monkeys have been trained by a Canadian couple with a combined experience of 35 years working with animals, including 12 years at the Toronto Zoo, teaching the squirrel monkeys to trust and enjoy the company of humans. They will come down from the trees to sit on your shoulder, and will eat out of your hand.

These charming creatures love to pose for photographs, and will probably sit still to watch themselves on your camera, if you let them.  Monkey Land is a delightful and unforgettable experience for the whole family.
