Iberostate Paraíso Beach has had a spectacular influx of travelers thanks to these new airline routes. Not only is Iberostate Paraíso welcoming South American tourists, but also it is now welcoming more and more visitors from Moscow, who are fascinated by the unbeatable beauty of the Caribbean.

The introduction of new national routes and a higher number of direct flights to this destination have considerably increased in the last years. Today, Cancun and the Mayan Riviera have an excellent positioning among world travelers, which is reflected in the growing number of visitors to this destination.

Historically, 2011 was the best year in terms of the influx of visitors to this region.  For 2012, new airline connections and of course an influx of visitors from both the emerging markets and consolidated destinations are expected.

Some national destinations that have established direct flights to Cancun are: Villahermosa, Chiapas, Monterrey. And the international routes include Guatemala, Sao Paolo Brazil, Caracas Venezuela, Lima Peru, London and Madrid.

Recently, a direct flight from Moscow has also been established with 4,700 available seats. This is generating greater presence in this destination while increasing the demand of the Russian market towards our destination.

For the future, establishing a connecting flight from New York is being contemplated. Consequently, this would be one of the most important connections, given that it is not only a beautiful city, but also a very active business destination.

This 2012 has started off strong for Cancun and the Mayan Riviera since increasing the number of routes is underway with the aim of connecting Mexico with all those travelers who want to take part in the biggest and most important tourist event of our times.
