Official opening of the boulevard turístico del este

On November 20, the president of the Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina, led the official opening of the Boulevard Túristico del Este, an important road connecting Punta Cana International Airport and the Autovía del Corral highway with the hotel zone of Playa Bávaro, Macao and Uvero Alta.
The number of visitors exceeds 4.2 million in just ten months

In total, the number of visitors (residents and non-residents) exceeded 4.2 million airline passengers in the first ten months of this year, an increase of 1% with respect to the 4.1 million of the same period of 2012.
