February 8 was a very special Saturday at Iberostate Praia do Forte. A day of much celebration in honor of the 3 years of the fashion and lifestyle blog “Saia Plissada” of famous Salvador fashion producer Aninha Varjão.

The event took place at the Iberostate Praia do Forte Sales Stand from 11am to 5pm and was packed with Aninha’s guests, who enjoyed a very special Saturday afternoon, lunching on exclusive Mediterranean delicacies prepared by the Iberostar kitchen, to the sound of the hits of the moment specially compiled for the occasion by DJ Sávio Savá.

As with any anniversary celebration, there had to be a special table for the cake, which was decorated with elements with a fashion connection, including a Barbie doll dressed in a beautiful pleated skirt that Ana Varjão adopted as the blog’s symbol. There were also gourmet chocolate brigadeiros or truffles provided by Ana Varjão’s friend and businesswoman Juliana Martini. The unusual flavors of the truffles provoked interest and sparked the curiosity of all those present, who savored delicious Caipirinha brigadeiros (with a taste of cachaça and lemon), Romeu e Julieta, Coconut and of course the traditional pure chocolate version that was a must.

The Summer Lunch By Saia Plissada event even earned itself its own hashtag (#VerãoIberostateBySaiaPlissada), and many posts of photographs of Ana Varjão and many of her guests promoted the Iberostate brand on social networks over the whole weekend.
