Iberostate Praia do Forte held a very special event full of flavor in an early celebration of Easter on Saturday, April 12. Following the signing of an agreement with fine chocolate makers AMMA, an area was set aside at the event for those visiting to try the various kinds and flavors of chocolate offered by the brand.  AMMA’s products are made using different percentages of cocoa in their composition, ranging from 30% to 100%, and each item has its own distinctive taste (always exceptional) according to the percentage used.  

AMMA chocolates are made organically using beans from trees planted in the Atlantic Rainforest south of Bahia, a place that today has the greatest biodiversity per square meter on the planet. The cocoa beans are transformed into sophisticated chocolate in Vale do Rio de Contas, in the Itacaré region, a district also located south of Bahia.

Esteem for the special quality of AMMA chocolates had led to prestige not just in the state of Bahia but far beyond the borders of Brazil. In September 2012, AMMA’s 45% chocolate received the gold medal at the International Chocolate Awards that grant prizes to the best chocolate from all over the world.
