At its visitor center in the village of Praia do Forte, the Tamar Project commemorated a historic and very special milestone: the release into the ocean of 20 million baby turtles. Over its 35 years of work, the Tamar Project has succeeded in safely releasing into the sea twenty million baby turtles. This number is a significant step in marine conservation and the protection of these creatures, which remain threatened by extinction. The event in celebration took place in Bahía on 27 February this year, and counted on the participation of major names from the music scene in Bahía. The same event will be held on different dates at other Tamar Project locations spread across Brazil.

The ‘20 million baby turtles released into the sea...and many more stars at Tamar’ celebration began at 5 pm with a commemorative release of baby turtles into the sea, and was followed at 8 pm with shows to mark this great event, with artists such as Ricardo Chaves, Ana Mametto, Gerônimo, Saulo Fernandes and other splendid attractions that rounded off the celebrations at the Praia do Forte village.

A very special and significant moment that took place a little over one mile from Iberostate Praia do Forte. An unforgettable party for the whole family, very close to the development, and in perfect harmony with nature.

Just another of the outstanding features of Iberostate, where many other similar attractions and surprises await you.
