From August 27 to 31, 2014, the 1st Praia do Forte Environmental Conservation Course took place: an extremely important socio-environmental initiative that brought together several of the region's important brands and environmental institutions which, in conjunction with the Mata de São João Municipal Government, will promote a series of talks and classes for participants.

Environmental Licensing, Water Quality and Sanitation, Characterization of State Parks, Introduction to Environmental Surveys, and Environmental Crime were some of the main themes of the talks and classes that took place in Praia do Forte.

This is another vitally important initiative for the local environment, fauna and flora, showing that Iberostate, as well as being integrated into one of the Bahian coast's great paradises, is surrounded by people and institutions that seek to preserve and promote efforts to nurture and implement effective socio-environmental protection measures.
